Submission Guidelines

We are soliciting submissions in three main categories:

A. Advice, Articles, Essays, or Quotes relating to Home Education

      It is easiest for me if these are submitted in the form of plain 
      text email messages. 
      
      Topics may include news, uplifting family experiences, and 
      how-to ideas that worked for your family, and other relevant
      material.

B. Projects, reports, or essays submitted by young people

      This includes just about anything you can put on a web
      page, including scanned-in hand-drawn pictures. Please
      submit as web pages with accompanying pictures, if any,
      in .bmp, .gif, .jpg or .jpeg file format. Please include
      in your email a short description of your submission to be 
      included in the newsletter.

      For internet security reasons, will will not publish on our
      web site photographs, full names, or addresses of children.
      The summary in the newsletter will include enough information
      that a subscriber who has the LDS-OHEA database can contact 
      the family that submitted the material - with supportive
      comments, of course!

      If wish to send in a picture and you do not have a scanner,
      or your email will not accept file attachments, then please
      email me your request and I will reply with a regular mailing 
      address you can send a paper copy to. We will not be able to 
      return any materials, so please do not send any precious 
      originals, etc.

C. Bulletins

      Bulletins consist of announcements, "wanted" ads, co-op 
      offers, etc. relative to the topic and audience of our 
      newsletter and web site.

      It is best if these are in the form of plain text email messages.

      If the bulletin is an advertisement, please include the name 
      and contact information of the person offering the good or 
      service. We (LDS-OHEA) accept no responsibility for the 
      delivery or quality of the goods or services advertised, nor 
      does our placing the notice in the newsletter or on our web 
      site constitute an endorsement. Notices are placed on our web 
      site solely as a service to our subscribers and friends.

Please email your submissions through the CONTACT US page, and
please be forgiving if it takes me a week or so to respond. Your 
contributions to our newsletter and website are very much appreciated.
